20 percent monthly bill discount
Pacific Power offers income-qualifying residential customers a 20 percent discount on monthly bills through its California
Alternative Rates for Energy (CARE) program. The program was established in 1989 by the California legislature. CARE is funded
through a surcharge on non-CARE customers’ monthly bills, as required by the commission.
