We team up with Energy Trust of Oregon to offer programs and incentives to save you energy and money in your home or business. Many incentives are available for a limited time for single-family homes only. Incentives are subject to change. The Oregon Department of Energy also offers tax credits for energy efficiency upgrades.

Home Energy Review – A Home Energy Specialist will come to your home, recommend energy-saving measures and install FREE compact fluorescent light bulbs. To schedule your Home Energy Review call 1-866-368-7878 or fill out this form.

New! Refrigerator recycling – Receive $30 when you recycle your energy-wasting older fridge or freezer. You’ll get free pickup and proper recycling of your old unit. 

Premium efficiency clothes washers – Get $75 or $100 cash back on the purchase of an efficient ENERGY STAR clothes washer. Clothes washers with a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.0 to 2.19 qualify for a $75 incentive; those with a MEF of 2.2 or higher qualify for a $100 incentive. In addition, many premium efficiency machines qualify for an Oregon Residential Energy Tax Credit of $115-$180. 

Efficient windows – Upgrade your windows and receive $2.25 per square foot (U-value of .30 or less). Windows qualify for incentives when installed in conjunction with additional measures (excluding water heater, duct/air leakage test and duct insulation). 

Insulation upgrades – Homes heated with electric and gas heat get $.45 per square foot for floor insulation, $.25 per square foot for ceiling insulation and $.30 per square foot for wall insulation. 

New high-efficiency heat pumps – Get up to $200 for minimum efficiency HSPF 8.5 heat pump upgrade or $400 for electric furnace replacement. Get up to $150 for minimum efficiency HSPF 8.2 heat pump upgrade or $300 for electric furnace replacement. An Oregon Energy Tax Credit is also available.
