New Buildings Energy Trust works to help building owners identify, understand and adopt energy-efficiency practices that can lower operating
costs, create a more comfortable space and make the most of a new building or major renovation project. Program specialists
work with architects, building designers, engineers and contractors to increase the efficiency of new buildings or major renovation
projects well above local building codes and standard practice.
The program offers financial incentives for energy efficiency measures such as energy efficient lighting, heating, and air
conditioning equipment, as well as efficient design elements, systems, and construction materials. Here are general incentives
for standard and custom projects.
- Standard Track

management contractor. All incentive applications over $3,000 require review and approval prior to purchase of the energy
efficiency equipment.
- Custom Track – Incentives for premium efficiency equipment, energy design assistance and commissioning oversight assistance are based
on $0.10 per kwh for energy efficiency measures that pass Energy Trust's benefit-cost test up to $300,000 for custom projects.
The Custom Track may be combined with $100,000 in Standard Track incentives, $40,000 in Commissioning incentives and up to
$25,000 in Technical Assistance making available up to $465,000 per project.
- LEED-NC Track

Irrigation Initiative Program
Energy Trust is bringing its Irrigation Initiative pilot program to a close in the Klamath Basin in Oregon. Energy Trust and
Pacific Power sponsored this Initiative as a pilot effort to assist irrigators in implementing irrigation efficiency measures.
For those irrigators in Oregon with pumps also located in California, please note that Pacific Power's nozzle program remains
in effect. Energy Trust of Oregon provides incentives throughout its service territory for cost-effective agricultural measures
through the Production Efficiency program.
For Oregon irrigators who received an Initiative pump test in 2005 or 2006 and have completed and are pursuing incentives
for a pump repair or replacement, please contact Spencer Moersfelder at Energy Trust (503) 445-7635 directly, 1-866-368-7878
